Arguably one of the more controversial time tracking tools, Tracking Time seems to be a software that people either love or hate. Although relatively new, My Hours has made a name for itself due to how versatile it is. It has time tracking capabilities, can generate time sheets, supports detailed descriptions, task templates and user roles, and has numerous integrations.
While it does not have in-depth activity tracking, it checks most boxes when it comes to providing the key features that a company requires from a time tracking tool.
All of these tools can help ensure remote workers are productive by tracking the time they spend on various tasks or even monitoring their activities. But as you can see each tool is unique in its own way both in terms of the extent of its monitoring capabilities as well as what it does.
In short, it is up to you to decide exactly what your goal is and which software will fit it best. If you want to keep close tabs on your remote workers and monitor as much of their activity as possible then you can certainly do so. However if you’d prefer not to any just want a simple way to track the time they spend working that’s fine too.
