A List of Games for the Baffled Gamer

The world of gaming is growing larger by the minute. New titles are making the pile of old games grow giving gamers a better choice. But some might be baffled as to what to play next once they’ve finished a title. If you happen to be such a gamer, then this is the right article for you. In that regard, here are several such titles to consider:

Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic

The sci-fi genre has produced some of the most popular films and fictional universes. The universe of Star Wars happens to be one of them. There are lots of games in this universe that SW fans are not limited to. Knights of the Old Republic is one of them and it takes you on a hero’s epic journey.

You’ll get to create a character and guide them towards the light or the dark based on your actions. If you happen to be looking for a break in the story, then you can always enter a swoop race or play some Pazaak.

This is a card game in which you’ll need to beat your opponent with a card combo of or around 20. It sounds similar to blackjack, because it’s based on the titular online casino game available in land-based and virtual casinos. Make sure to enjoy these games responsibly.

Knights of the Old Republic may be janky when it comes to visuals and mechanics, but it’s a title any baffled gamer should consider.

Dragon Age Origins

If a fantasy game is what you fancy then Dragon Age Origins is a pretty good one. A mystical world of elves, dwarves, and men is set on by the armies of the Blight and only the Grey Wardens stand in their way. You can start as a mage, warrior, or rogue once you pick your race. These classes give you a different starting point of the story, but all three lead you to the Grey Wardens.

Once you survive their tests, you’ll become one and then you’ll join the King’s army in an attempt to stop the Blight. The battle is underway and at a crucial point the King will be betrayed and you’ll barely make it out alive. The Witch of the Woods will save you and one of your allies. She’ll send you and her daughter on a mission to unite the races against the Blight in a final attempt at stopping it. This fantasy title is the first one in a franchise so if you like it you can play the other ones.

Age of Empires IV

If you’re into strategies then the Age of Empires franchise will be right up your alley. The fourth installment has been developed and has you go back in history once again. The visuals and mechanics are pretty modern and the game looks beautiful. You’ll get to play with the English, Rus, Mongols, and Normans. Each civilization has its unique perks and helps you adapt to the different situations that arise. You’ll build castles, farms, keeps, blacksmiths, and increase your army, improve your army and resolve all the conflicts by defeating your enemies. It’s a classic strategy game with modern visuals.
